“Flowers always make people better, happier, and more helpful; they are sunshine, food and medicine for the soul”
-Luther Burbank
Mimi’s passion for growing flowers comes from an even deeper love of sharing beauty with as many people as possible. She finds joy and creativity in using her landscape for inspiration and depicting both the serene and wild aspects of beauty. Mimi has always appreciated flowers for the consistent joy they offer. At a young age Mimi spent parts of her summer picking flowers from her family’s front yard, placing them into her red flyer wagon, to sell at the end of the driveway. This early excitement for sharing flowers with others has now grown into her own small flower business.
With over 30 years of experience farming and growing flowers along side produce, Mimi made a shift six years ago to focusing primarily on growing flowers when her son, Taylor, expressed interest in managing the produce end of the farm fully. Growing flowers has been an avenue for Mimi to express her creativity fully and find excitement in the ongoing learning process that specializing in flowers offers.
We are excited to offer weekly flower shares, bulk flower orders for DIY weddings, special events, florists, and those seeking local flowers. You can also sign up for a seasonal weekly share of flowers or pick up one of our beautiful bouquets at the Saturday Farmers Market in Eastsound.
