“For the beauty of the earth sing o sing today.”

This line from an old hymn often echoes through the walls of our barn, as we pause to gather and share in our food and community. Perhaps this too is the simplest way to describe our philosophy.

Over 32 years, we have raised our children here, and been inspired by the countless interns who have been a part of our team. Our circle has grown to include so many beauties. The land we cultivate has expanded, old fence lines patched, and replaced. Old buildings restored and new shelters built. While a new tractor offers exciting possibilities, our trusty black handled cultivating fork is still just as coveted. Through all the shifts, what remains the same is our aim to nurture loving growth in all our relationships. We strive to offer beauty and nourishment in response to the beauty we have been offered. We cultivate this land, we hold space for retreat, all with a call to create and listen, a yearning to grow and love, and a care and fascination for all creatures great and small.
